Six Sentence Sunday: V-DAY

Hey, you know I like to shake things up, so this week I decided to skip the TL;DR humdrums and try Six Sentence Sunday instead of #samplesunday. It might become a permanent switch - though I have to admit it is not easy to pick out six sentences (exactly) of anything!

This week, my six sentences come from my newest release, V-Day - a cute little erotic romantic-comedy that won't change the world, but might fill your lunch hour pleasantly. I selected the passage from the "sibling banter" scene that has been well-received.

“Why would I want to spend Valentine’s Day weekend with Jason? He picks his nose…and eats it.” She shuddered deadly serious, as if she couldn't imagine a worse crime in the world.
“Daniel…” Judith turned to him after a moment.
“She’s right, Mom,” he said. “Cousin Jason is a chronic nose picker.”

As a fun fact, in my head Daniel's mother (a character I adore) is played by Marcia Gay Harden. Yes, I cast all the books I write in my head - and most of the ones I read, as well.
