A few lines of dialogue from the new shifter-romance work in progress, featuring a female feline-shifter. The dialogue has really flowed into my brain with this one, and all of my favourite bits are banter scenes. Enjoy!

“Maybe,” she answered. “Depends on who she takes after, like anything else. If she takes after the shifter parent, then she will.”
“So you just buy a crib sized scratching post and hope for the best, then?”

It's just a little scrap of silly from the rough draft. I am liking these two characters quite a lot, so it's hard to pick six sentences. I might do a proper excerpt in a few days.
